Neural Octane explores human behavior in high-performance environments through an industrial-organizational psychology lens. Through vlogs, podcasts, and analysis, it examines team dynamics, operational systems, and decision-making under pressure while remaining open to new perspectives.

The Founder

Sydney Costello founded Neural Octane from a fascination with what makes people and organizations perform at extraordinary levels. As an Industrial-Organizational Psychology student at San Diego State University, Head of People Operations for Aztec Electric Racing (competing in Formula SAE Electric), and part of San Diego’s luxury automotive industry, she experiences high-performance environments firsthand. Her work places her around Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Bugatti while connecting her with driven people throughout the automotive community.

 

Through Neural Octane she transforms these experiences into deeper insight on leadership, culture, and human performance.
